    Bathroom Air Vent

We have a average small size bathroom, about the size of a standard box room. It has a window, that we always open when in the bath and shower, and leave open for about 15mins after getting out. The problem is the ceiling above the shower keeps getting damp patches on it, this is beacuse even...

    Alpha CD32C B error light

Free estimates are common in most trades for repairs, im not expecting them to strip it down for a free estimate but a educated guess is correct most of the time. I would never pay for a estimate nor would anyone i know. I run my own business also and do free estimates, people like that...

Maybe hard wire the amp via a FCU ( Fused Connection Unit ) that way there is no plug for people to plug anything into.

TV problem - noisy flyback transformer. gaffa tape OK?

The LOPT is one of the heavy components on a PCB, what you say is wrong, how many times i see and hear this. If there is a hairline crack on the pcb or a dry joint somewhere (80% are not visiable to the human eye) it can affect the board when you push the biggest thing on it the LOPT. You...

TV problem - noisy flyback transformer. gaffa tape OK?

Do not try to fix it, if you dont know what your doing. There is no point in swopping it out without knowing why its failed in the first place, and there is no sure thing that it is the part you suspect is at fault either. Take it to a TV repair shop to get it looked at. LOPT's can be...

I deal with BT on a daily basis. BT dont normally bother, a engineer will have a idea where the socket might have been if you was lucky, all you have to say is you dont know you been there 10 years and it always been like that, they wont moan over a socket, its the first thing they tend to...

Normal way would be a amplifier/distribution box fitted in the loft. Main aerial feed plugs in and you have the out puts to the other rooms. If your in a weak signal area go foor a good quality one they are a lot better than the cheepo ones
