125mm Angle Grinder : Can it use 115mm discs?

I've not used an angle grinder before but had to grab one today and it wasn't until after I got back that I find that the most common discs sizes are 115mm and 230mm.

The angle grinder I bought states it's 125mm one, can I still use 115mm discs in it?

Yes, but they don't last as long. If you think about it a disc may start at 125mm, but it will soon get worn down to 115mm and a lot less than that

Yes you can use them. Think about it, your 125 discs will all become 115 at some stage!

I have the opposite problem.

I bought a boat load of 125 discs, antd then realised that the grinder is 115mm
