I'm wondering if it possible to cut out a plaster ceiling rose set into an artex ceiling, fill the gap, and replicate the 'swish' pattern to hide the fact that a rose was ever there.
I strongly dislike centre lights, and I would like to patch up this part of the ceiling and then install recessed spotlights.
Would it be possible to cut out and fill in an artex ceiling like this, or does the whole ceiling need to be re-plastered?
