Adjust rear-view mirror on Scirocco

I run a 2015 GT 1.4 TSI Scirocco. Much to my amazement I can’t find any mention any-where on how to adjust my rear-view mirror to see my back view perfectly (I want to move it up or down).

Am I missing something here, the temptation is to use brute force, I’m resisting this at the moment!

A little more brute force I think? Maybe try from left to right first.
