Hi All, complete newbie to building here. I want to build an exterior wall in the space below (not sure if masonry or timber would be best) but not sure how to go about it.
I am capable of putting the frame together as well as the space for a double window, but seeing as this would be an exterior wall how would it be sealed? particularly the base of the frame, would it need to be raised? since exterior board and siding would need to be added and should i perhaps add a layer of bricks and build the frame on top of it?
(This is part of a larger project of converting this section into a workshop) any and all advice would be much appreciated, thanks
