advise on furniture and color decor.w/ wooden walls..

I just got my 1st apt and it basically looks like a Log Cabin.
Wooden walls surrender the entire small unit loft styled apt., which his wooden stair cases to the "bedroom"
Im young, so want something modern but can't do anything about the wooden walls.
Any color suggestions and or furniture, to use would be helpful. THNX.

look in magazines and furniture stores for ideas.

If you own it, you could always change the colour of the walls. Wood doesn't have to be wood-coloured. it could be stained, painted, you name it.
