Hi
When I turn off any tap or when the washing machine stops drawing water there is a single bang. Anyone got any ideas as to the cause and cure.

Somewhere or other you have a pipe not clipprd in properly (or at all). We had this and rather than pulling-up floorboards we just closed the stopcock coming into the house about 1 turn. Sorted the job until O got round to moving the bathroom
