Are very low milage oil changes worth bothering with?

Its a Merc '94 C220, 111.961 engine with 95k miles, that's done only about 300 miles since its last oil change in October 2018.

I know full synth has a shelf life of 5 years so how does sitting in a sump doing nowt differ?

No, filter is ok at 300 miles.
It doesn't deteriorate, it's aluminium.
