Ariston Euro Combi Boiler - Problem

Hi,

This is my first post, but reading posts on here, I am hoping someone can help!

I have an Ariston Euro Combi which, aside from a replacement Air Pressure Switch, has been working fine for the last 3 years; although it hasn't been serviced in that time.

Now however, it has suddenly become v. temperamental and won't fire up with either HW or CH at times; the fan goes, the pump goes, but it just doesn't fire.

Bizarrely though, it will fire EVERY time with the front cover completely off.

Can someone please help??

Any chance of some advice?!

I haven't touched anything in there, just looked to see if anything was blocking anything else and it fired up.

would tend to suggest flue blockage or dirty fan / venturi/ pipes or aps

all corgi jobs
