ARISTON SX20 MFFICE eurocombi boiler..pressure failure

Have bled the radiators, and topped up the boiler. Started the system all is well, radiators more effective.
Sitched boiler off notice reduction in pressure and water dripping from overflow pipe outside. Topped up boiler again and all was well, when stopped pressure reduces again to below 1 bar.
Note after topping up the pressure was 1 and a half bar before switching on.


HELP.

Sounds like your Prv is in need of replacement!!
Also check the expansion vessel for correct static charge/ruptured diaphragm!!

Exapansion Vessel anything between £16 and £50 but could be more depending on Boiler Make, Model etc.

PRV's generally about £10 - £20.

Then there is his hourly rate to fit.
