Hi, I am about to buy and attach a shower screen to the side of the bath. This will be directly screwed onto the following surface:
ceramic tiles (8mm thick) attached to 12.5mm chipboard (tanked) which are in turn attached to battons.

Quick question, as shower screens are quite heavy, will the weight of the shower screens and tile sbe to much for the chipboard to bear?

Is that chipboard or is it meant to say plasterboard?
