attaching poles to fence panels

So, Ive bought the wooden 8ft poles and 6ftX8ft stockade fence panels.
My question, which may be a dumb one, is once Ive got the poles in the ground how do I attatch the panels to the poles? Just screw them into the poles? some kind of bracket? something I haven't thought of?
Any advice from experienced fence builders?

when i put my fence up, we just bought fence panel clips. Just little u shaped thingies with 3 holes in them, one onto the post, two either side into the fence panel.

should be able to get them at DIY stores

ah yeah....didnt notice that small factor
