Hi

Boiler is a Worcester Bosch Greenstar 35He combi connected to a 3 zone heating system all controlled by 2 way valves. When all valves closed pump runon results in overheat/pressure buildup venting and shutdown. Plumber has fitted a manual bypass but this only bypasses on of the 2 way valves. The result is that the circuit is constantly live and continues to fire the boiler - expensive heating bills.

From reading other threads it would appear that an automatic bypass valve would be the answer, however, on reading the installation instructions for the boiler it says an auto bypass should not be fitted as the boiler has a self regulationg pump (adjusts speed to the demands of the system).

Grateful for any advice. Thanks in advance.

Could be one of the end switches is faulty as boiler shouldn't fire without one of valves being fully open. Assuming it is wired up correctly
