Average price to deck over a garden?

My garden's on a bit of a slope and the easiest thing appears to be timber decking across it.

Anyone know the rough price to have someone in to do it? Garden's about 17ft square - obviously prices will vary quite a lot, but if anyone's had any done and can let me the know cost, that'd be helpful!
