bath tap

Hi all, fitted a new bath at the weekend with wickes rhine bath taps, they are 1/4 turn taps and the lever should be level with the tap when the tap is off, problem is the hot tap is on when the lever is in the off position and you have to turn it to the on position to turn it off!

Is this something I may have done wrong or is it a fault with the tap? Would be a real pain to have to get the bath out again to change to tap...

Hi there,

Probably been factory fitted with the handle on the spindle in the wrong position.

Remove the tap head, should be an allen grub somewhere on back and just place in the correct off postion
