Bathroom basin question.....

We have a wall-mounted cabinet with a gloss-white worktop, upon which we plan to fit the following style of basin.....

It has no obvious fixing method, yet I cannot imagine that it is totally 'free-standing'?

Any suggestions?

The only one I've seen a plumber put-in sat over a hole through the worktop and was held in place with an extra flange and nut on the waste pipe as well as bedded onto silicone. At least it didn't move when he'd done.
