Bathroom extractor won't turn off

Just got home from work to find that the extractor fan in the bathroom has been running all day despite having turned off the bathroom light this morning - normally it turns itself off about 5 mins after light has been switched off. Have tried turning on and off a couple of times but it just stays on.

Any ideas what problem might be or how to fix it?

Is it a timer fan or has it got humidistat as well?

You need to check that the live, neutral and switched live are all present at the fan and do what they should do.

If so it probably means you need a new one.
