Bathroom pull switch charge

Iam trying to replace my bathroom pullswitch inside the old one there is 2 cables going into it 2 red wires one goes into out terminal and one goes into In terminal then 2 black wires wrap together the new switch I’ve got is a 2 way pull switch there are 3 terminal in side it plus the earth L1 L2 L not shaw were they go.any advice would be most welcome.thanks

Can't you upload the pictures?

Anyway, put one of the red wire in the COM terminal of the new switch. The other red one will go into L1. The labels are marked accordingly. Sleeve the wire which will go to L1.

The two black wires will join together in a terminal block assuming you already have one at the old switch you can use that one.

Don't forget the earth wires.

The one on the left is common and the one on the right will be L1
