I just removed the tiles in my Victorian flat, to reveal a wall with patches of pink plaster, over eposed patches of iles, over other exposed areas of what looks like an internal wall made of earth! (im a novice, in case you hadn't guessed!)
The wall has been drying out for a couple of days and I intend to plaster over the whole lot to make it reasonably flat ready for tiling. If I do plaster over all these inconsistent layers, am I running the risk of the plaster not adhering? Should I just overclad the lot with a new sheet of plasterboard, then tile?
