This question is linked to subject Cental Heating Pump and I have repostioned the pump pointing up towards the motorised valve and have no heat to the radiators, but it solved the air in the system and the hot water in the F & E tank.

I Have just taken off my towel rail.

Normal Valves (not TRV or Lockshield)

I have the system turned on and there is no water coming out of the left hand pipe, I even took the valve off the pipe, (right hand pipe has got pressure although not strong).

is this correct?

would the previous owner have used the towel rail as a way to connect the flow and return pipes?

I have not found where the flow and return pipes are linked yet?

The bathroom is situated above the boiler and next to cylinder, I would have thought they would have been the first in the line.

Is my next job balancing the system to get the heat?

TIA
