Baxi Bahama 100 Burner Neon flickers

When the boiler stopped firing I used the troubleshooting guide that indicated I should check the CH Flow Switch. It was open circuit, so I replaced it, but still no spark.

What I don't understand is:

Power off, wait 10 mins then turn on - position DHW only
Turn Hot Water tap on.

Burner neon flickers once.

The troubleshooting guide doesn't cover this situation - why does the neon flicker only once?

Checked the Plate Heat Exchanger - it's not impeding the flow. Neither is the inline filter (I removed it).

Don't know what else to do to diagnose the problem.

Check the HW flow switch. Normally its best to replace them as a pair. Theres some up to date instructions for the Honeywell version here and the SIT version here
