Baxi barcelona C 31.05 KW regular condensing boiler. Age of boiler between 5&6 years old. Boiler locks out with no particular pattern. Fault unknown. Fitted a couple of relays and a high limit pipe stat to overcome the pump overrun problem. This works well. Boiler works well until it decides to lock out again. Baxi tech. recommended the pump overrun setup. Cannot think what is wrong. Please help.........

Thanks for your reply. Boiler last serviced November 2006. Red light flashed fast. I have noticed that when the programmer turns it's self off at the end of the programm, the boiler lock out. The lockout can only be reset once the programmer has been turned on and the pump kicks in. Last night the lockout came on. I done an override on the programmer and reset the lockout. This morning the boiler kicked, although this is not always the case.
