i have repressurised to 1.5 bar now .. when system is hot goes to 2.2 bar approx

I was hoping it was water pressure kev but as we well know, best state the obvious!

pressure is 1.5 bar cold 2.2 hot found valve no probs. i realise the releif valve is releasing the pressure prematurly so will get new one ... thanks guys for your help

are these relief valves easy to fit ?

i know the pipe side of the valve is just simply undo the nut but does the other end the one with the O ring on it is that a push fit or what ... cant make it out from picture i have here..

if its a push fit

isolate boiler electrically

isolate flow and return

open prv to drain

remove and replace with new

open flow and return valves and re pressurise to 1.2 bar

vent pump

make sure AAV is open

you never drain thro the prv it will start leaking

it helps to vent the boiler of air from the system

sorry for sounding i little thick here but how do i know if aav is open

there is a little plastic cap on it (like a cap on a car tyres air fill valve)

turn it anti clockwise a couple of turns to open
