Bearings ? Tumble Dryer

Hi,
I'm pretty sure the bearings have 'gone' on my tumble dryer. The noise coming from it is very loud and this only happens when the drum is spinning. It is still operational, but when in use, it gives out a loud 'grinding' or 'scraping' noise.
Can anyone tell me if this is an expensive replacement / fix or if I may as well just buy a new dryer.
It's a Hotpoint Aquarius Dryer Plus TL62
