Right on - natural talent and a gentleman on and off the track. no need to run competitors off the track like Senna or Schumi.
My favourite story - he drove an ERA around Silverstone that had been campaigned by this guy for many years. He got round two seconds faster on his first lap, from a standing start!

Watched most of 'em ...
Saw Jimmy in the mid '60's at Brit GP Silverstone ... untouchable .. If you crashed in those days .. you probably died ... But they still pushed the envelope !!
Best circuit in UK for GP ? IMHO Brands Hatch ... sitting on the outside of braking area for Paddock Bend, one could see almost the whole circuit apart from the GP loop ... enthralling ... Worth the horrendous 'transfer' cost to the paddock enclosure !!
Very memorable sounds as the F1 cars wailed through the finish straight, past the stands, en route for Paddock .....
