Best place for extractor fan, over shower or over bath?

Just in the process of refitting the bathroom, and also adding a separate shower and an extractor fan.

Is the fan better over the shower or over the bath?

I should also mention the wall where i am installing the shower has a grill at the top of the wall leading to a airbrick outside.

What do you reckon?

I suppose it depends how often you have steamy baths vs showers, although the airbrick recess makes a very handy place to fit a fan - that's where I plan to put mine.

As far as possible from source of fresh air is advisable. And if they are over bath or shower SELV is the way to go.
