Best Sealant for shower/bath waste

Hi i have to fit my new shower and bath waste soon.
Both are plastic.
In the shower instructions it says to use a Neutral Silicone Sealant. There example is Dow Corning 794.

Is this the best product to use for both wastes. or is there something better.

not sure but personally i always a good HI modulas silicone. The stuff recommeded for bathrooms is sually naff and acrylicy- although i havnt tried them all.
