Absolutely agree but the problem comes from the top, awful development training, knowing the right people, very poor senior management, pointless pie in the sky targets all down the line, a culture developed over the last few years of them and us, incredibly opressive big brother business style the list goes on and on. I'm sure Bentley knows this and is probably the driving force behind the new business model almost exclusively only using graduates for management roles...reckon that will improve things?, I am more inclined to think we will just have more clueless morons running around like headless chickens but now with no experience of the business either.

Not the best boilers in the world, but there are far worse.
I agree with both sides of the arguement here ( splinters in my bum from sitting on the fence ) but I have to agree with onlyfit - if and it is a big if, the boilers are installed AND maintained properly, they are just as good as many others.
Now ducking for cover - you woudn't shoot a man with glasses would you? OK , so the glasses are full of alcohol

Are you even defending the Isar and icos?? What about the very serious burner pins recall? If that occurs on any isar/icos even out of warranty Ideal will pay up. That boiler has been riddled from day one! Not to mention how badly mucked up the minimiser gets. Anyways, i like worcesters and apparantly they're pretty unpoppular from what i can gather on this forum :D so what do i know haha

there's more of em at it! where do I get on the payroll? I can pretend they're good too

where do we start ?? classic combi-dog, turbo 2-dog, response-monumental disaster, minimser-dog, early isar/icos-monumental disaster, later icos/isar-dog. How many times have they messed with the pcb on the isar/icos? whats that gotta do with system water???? Why do so many other boilers survive all these awful systems?
If they can't make a boiler that can't handle a tiny indiscrepency in system water its a DOG!! This is the uk, land of the OV system, boilers need to be tough!
