We are starting a kitchen door replacement soon and the narrowest door width available is 250mm.

We have two corner wall units with small doors approx 180mm each, how would we make a bifold to fit this instead ?

Do you buy a wide door and cut it into two and then hinge the middle ??

It depends on the style of door. If you are going to have solid wood frame and panel doors they would fall apart of you tried that. If you use vinyl/foil wrapped the exposed edge where you saw will be difficult to hide and will be prone to moisture absorption unless sealed. If on the other hand you go to a firm specialising in made to size vinyl wrap doors then that problem is easily overcome and shouyldn't cost a fortune.
