Birds got in roof, what do i need to repair

Bird have got into the roof and chewed the wooden roof batten and they have chewed the membrain and crapped down the wall.
Now heres the pictures.

Guess what its not covered by normal buildings insurance, as birds are classed as rodents.

Shouldnt have sold my air rifle.
damage seems to be 0.5mtr wide by 1mtr, to the membrane, and those wooden strips. tiles are ok.

Stop the birds entry location first then patch the sarking
