Easy to make your own - but, yes they are around. Even if you cant get Scart to BNC, you can get scart to phonos (red/black audio and YELLOW composite video), and then use a phone to BNC converter on the yellow.

Is the signal on the BNC the same as the signal carried by yellow phono? Learn something new every day!

Yes it is!
When buying a scart adapter you need to either get a switchable IN/OUT one or the IN variety. If you are as tight as me you can buy a scart plug and make your own.

Sooo . . . just a theory . . . . I COULD take a DVD player, and plug the yellow phono into a CCTV multiplexer via a BNC adaptor, and the signal viewable by selecting the camera input? And the 2 audio phonos could then go to a . . . PA system . . . for example?  Sure beats watching shoplifters, eh!

lol, it may possible work. Don't know what the shoppers will think, especially if you forget to mute the PA lol.

Your manager might not be too happy either, especially when you start watching 'a bit of blue'

CCTV uses composite, the same as the yellow phono.

BUT, multiplexors may not be manufactured for a generous resolution!
