This week I've been doing a bit of domestic fault finding. The problem was that the downstairs lighting kept tripping. Well, after quite a bit of Meggering which was telling me 0.20 MegOhm at 500v it was time to start ripping the ceiling down, I eventually tracked this baby down.
Yes, 6 downlights wired up with 2.5mm2 twin & earth, connector blocks all over the place.
I also made a start on a major commercial project at a well known retail outlet in the middle of Birmingham. This ELV spotlight was hanging on for dear life, by a single thread, directly above the till behind one of the main counters.
