hello guys,
my boiler has been kettling for some time now.called an engineer and he promised to come have a look but he still hasn't turned up after 3 days.he is the one who fitted the boiler from new and has been maintaining it ever since. i will therefore like to wait for him to come and fix it.
the question is this---
is it safe to keep using the boiler? it seem to be working fine and the noise/kettling start when the boiler has been on for about and hour. is it safe to keep using it or should i get someone to come have a look asap.
thanks

As you have not bothered to tell us what model of boiler you have then its difficult to give an opinion.

Generally it is probably safe to leave it on but I would advise turning down the boiler thermostat. That stat may have failed !!!

Its always better to get the installer back but kettling implies that he failed to treat the water or commission the boiler when he installed it!
