I have a quite old gloworm boiler which recently ihave had a few problems with
I turned the boiler off a few months ago and when i turned it on
it had become very noisy so i used fernox boiler noise reducer
just as it started to quieten down i was runing the hot tap and the boiler cut out ever since i have not been able to keep the boiler burning the flame goes out when it is on full (heating the water) i have a friend who is doing a plumbing course who said there is air in the system (because it wasnt burning a blue flame quite alot of yellow flames) but can not do anyhting as he has not past that part of the course.
Is there anything i can do without spending a fortune to sort this problem out?
How do I get this air out of the system?

Please help!! :!: :?: :!: :?:

Firstly if you have yellow flames you should get the boiler serviced by a corgi engineer as it will be producing carbon monoxide.

Sorry but I am not prepared to help you any further with this as it stands because the yellow flames indicate a potentially life threatening situation which needs adddressing immediately
