To pump his cold water, which will increase the pressure to his cold water taps but will make no difference whatever to his combi/ hot water flow.

Sorry I didn`t read all of the posts. At least he`ll have better pressure to his cold water then .

He's going to feed the combi as well from the boosted supply, although he will need a Pressure reducing valve to cut it down to 3bar, at the appliance.
