Fitting a Bosch condensing dryer for a customer, instructions show connection to waste needed for water.

Customer very unhappy as nowhere near a sink. Is this normal for all condenser dryers or is there any other way around it?

Thanks in advance

Depends on the model. Most Condensers have the option of draining to waste OR collecting in a container "onboard" for disposal at the end of the programme. However, Bosch do have a model that is not fitted with a reservoir but is intended to drain direct to waste - this is probably the one you have. Only solution would seem to be to exchange for a model with a reservoir. (alternatively, is it possible to drain outside as there should be no reason why the water has to go down the drain - it has no contaminants in it so could drain into an exteranl soakaway?)

Thanks Towman, the customer eventually got through to Bosch, who confirmed it is a dual model, it doesn't mention this in the instructions but all sorted now.
