Bosch Dishwasher

Hi

We've just moved into a new house which has a Bosch Classixx dishwasher (our first one), so my knowledge of them is somewhat limited.

I ran a cycle earlier, but 6 hours later it was still in the active mode but making a dull tone noise. I opened the machine to find the dishes mostly clean, but the bottom of the appliance was filled with water. The compartment with the washing tablet had not opened either.

Does anybody know what the problem might be? Would it be the pump, the filter or what?

Any help greatly appreciated.
