I am thinking of building a brick BBQ in my back garden. Can anyone give me some advice as to the best way of doing this and any tips I need for the project. ie what formula to make up the cement with etc etc.
The easiest way would be to buy in a pack all the metals parts needed (grill etc) from B&Q and Ive also seen one in argos (about £20), you also need to buy 200 or so bricks seperatly. Instructions for cement mixing will be on the sack when you buy it
I built one a few years ago and also included a brick frame onto the side with a 3 x2 concrete paving slab as a 'table top' eventually tiled the top, looks good and very handy for the usual utensils etc. ... worth thinking about. Remember to ensure you have a good concrete base down first!
