I am extending a conduit in my garage to add a new socket and I was expecting to be able to use twin and earth but the existing cable is separate conductors. I decided to strip the earth conductor from some twin and earth and buy some separate g/y conduit wire. I've got it here and it's different from the normal twin/earth because it's multi-stranded. Is it OK to use the twin/earth conductors and or should I buy proper conduit wire for the live and neutral as well? :)

I don't know of any reg that would prevent the use of cores from T&E but it will make pulling the cable in much harder. I'd stronly reccomend using proper singles.
