Hi,
I have a plasterer coming in to do some work and have removed tiles from the bathroom but the adhesive is still there - should I remove it or is it OK to plaster over?

Also, out of curiosity can you dryline over black mortar?

Last question - I am supplying the plasterer's materials he told me to get some Unibond (amongst other things). I have seen normal Unibond and Plastering Unibond (the plastering one is more expensive) does the plastering Unibond have any big advantage over the normal Unibond?

so long as the tile adhesive is sound, even after a good dousing with pva, then leave it.

use the most suitable unibond for the job in hand, then at least you should have no come-backs.

yes you can dry line onto black mortar.

The adhesive isn't a problem just make sure it's flat with a sharp scraper.

Any PVA will do for plastering.
