I have some taps in the kitchen which were professionally ? installed a about 7 years ago.
Despite being in the kitchen they are in fact OUTDOOR taps.
The reaosn for this is that the original plumbing fittd the taps such that the water comes "out the wall rather than "under a basin".
It was hard to get taps that would solve the problem so the plumber used outdoor taps.
I KNOW how to fit them but cannot remove them.
I have tried WD40, which does nothing.
I have also tried putting a "paint stripper" electric blower on them (dont have a blow torch), which does nothing either.
I should just call a pro but am too stingy.
Can anyone give any advice about removing stiff taps that wont undo?
I know it has PFTE tape in it.
