I have a UPVC double glazed back door that the previous owner put a cat flap in. I'd like to replace the non-glazed panel containing the cat flap with a plain white panel but not sure where/if I can buy such a thing. Any ideas?

Thanks
Steve

From the maker of the door?

Sticker with maker's name on the glazed portion, or around the edge of the door or frame.

If not found, and the house is a fairly recent build, consult the housebuilder to see what they installed.

If you're on good terms with the previous occupants, could they maybe supply maker's name or installer's name?

Regards, Graham

Double glazing shop can help specially the one that sell slight second's or reject windows & doors. They normally comes in standard size then just cut it down to the size you want, also you can have it fitted in a double glazed glass unit as well if you want.

I was able to get a replacement panel through a builder friend (and occasional employer) who did uPVC double glazing.

The surprise came when I enquired about the progress of the order. He said I needed to specify the colour.

'White' I said.

'Which white?', he replied, 'There's a choice of five.'
