I have just taken down a small ceiling in my loo as it was not in a good state while i'm putting in a new suite.

Its only 1metre by 2metre so very small.

My question is what do i buy to put up in its place. Its a flat roof so I just need to know what type of board to buy, I'll fit the board and get a plasterer in to do his bit.

I've been to wickes and there are all type of wall boards, just havn't a clue what to get.

Also, its a funny shape room, is there a problem if I cut the board into 3 bits and screw them into the joists ? or does it need to be all 1 peice. ?

Any advice pls ?

Thanks

plasterboard is most common, no probs with doing it in sections either

So is a wall board ok for the ceiling then and should it be a certain thickness ?
Thanks
