Hi,

I have a stairwell down into my cellar, over 100yrs old,

I have done my best to level the steps up as they were very uneven, but
I now want to cladd them, but I don't know what to go for standard coping stones or something else?

I have attached photos, have a look and make some suggestions, don't have a huge budget tho, approx £200

Cheers

definitely not stone
officially you should keep the rising and going the same up all treads so if you add to any treads and make them uneven you should add the same to every tread including the floor at the bottom or top

is it cosmetic or practical or hard wearing your after??
