Hi.

I've noticed today that our hot water isn't as hot as it should be (tank thermostat is set to 60c). The boiler is coming on, but I've noticed that it is making a fizzing noise, and doesn't seem to stay lit for very long at a time. Is this a symptom of 'kettling'? It was making some knocking noise a couple of years ago, and we added some Sentinel X200 which did stop it at the time.

I expect it's time for a thorough clean out, and a drain and refill.

Which products would people recommend. I'm not sure how old the system is as it was installed in the house when we moved in 10 years ago. The boiler is an Ideal Classic RS40.
