Hi
I have a Myson Compact CP63 central heating pump which makes a continuous humming sound when the system is on.

This has been happening for the last three months and is getting the better of me.

Is it a fairly simple job just to buy a replacement and re fit?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Denis

i am not a plumber or heating engineer, but yes it is, isolate the electrical supply, not which direction it pumps (arrow on pump) isolate and remove pump.

do in reverse for new pump.

either side of the pump there should be an isolating valve like

Be warned the iso valves either side of the pump tend to be a bit tempremental in other words dont rely on them to turn off properly.
