I have a british gas ch system and recently the thermerstat packed up. It is a wireless thermerstat and i got a replacemeent from bg but the default temperature is set at 8 degress. Can someone tell me how to increase this value as the boiler wont come on until it is at this temp. The unit ia an RC1 thermerstat with an RC1 wireless reciever.

Try hitting the set button, that will start you off into the settings

that did not work as neither the thermerstat nor reciever wr1 has any settings to get into only increase or decrease temperature
