Ceramic tap washers

Would be grateful if anyone can offer advice.

I have monoblock taps with ceramic washers fitted in my house. Some of the taps have become very tight to turn on and off. What can I do to ease them.

Dismantle and lubricate with silicone grease. You may need to use limescale remover first on some bit or other depending where you live.
