Hello all

I have a Siemens RWB2E dial type CH & HW programmer and would like to change it to a more modern looking digital one. Can anyone help with the following?

1. I heard that most programmers have a standard wall plug in socket so no need for rewiring, is this right?

2. Can I change this for a Siemens RWB29 digital programmer?

3. Or if they are mostly the same fitting what programmer would be the best one?

Thanks in advance for any help :)

The normal arrangement is the 'industry standard' wallplate, but the snag is they don't necessarily connect to the same terminals on that plate. A new device generally comes with a list of which terminals other popular brands and models used, but you might have to work it out yourself.
