I have a hardwood conservatory with twinwall plastic sheeting on the roof. I wish to change it to a tiled roof but do not think this will take the weight of traditional tiles.

I have seen whilst on holiday in Florida that they build roofing with timber sheeting and "stick on tiles" (a shiny smooth grey finish) and would like to replace my plastic roof with this.

Can anyone offer any advice for alternatives or where I can get this USA style tiles.

Thanks for any advice.

you can buy lightweight metal tiles over here, ask at a decent builders merchant.

It will no-longer be classed as a conservatory and will need planning permission.

I have these type of roofing system on my summerhouse called Verasasteel Tiles on a Sheet , if you have look at the Insulated sheets, they now complies with Part L regulations.

The another one is called Decra Roofing, I didn't bothered with this one as it was expensive then, I don't know the price now.
